Dr. Ronan Perry - Orthodontist
Ronan graduated with honours from the Dental School at Trinity College Dublin in 1998. Ronan worked as a general dentist in Dublin before moving the UK to take up a hospital position.
In 2000, he was awarded the Membership of the Faculty of Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Ronan completed a three year full time degree in the area of Orthdontics in Trinity College Dublin in 2005. In addition he was awarded a Masters in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 2005.
Ronan is a registered specialist and an active member of the Orthodontic Society of Ireland, of which he has served as membership secretary and editor of the society newsletter.
Ronan has published several papers in clinical research and orthodontics, and has presented his research at international meetings, such as the European Orthodontic Congress.
Ronan's main areas of interest are skeletal anchorage and lingual orthodontics.
Dr. Lian O’Dwyer - Orthodontist
Lian is also a Trinity College graduate from Dublin who finished top of her class. She currently divides her time between Pearls Dental Clinics and the Dental Hospital where she supervises dental students. Lian is a registered specialist and a member of the Orthodontic Society of Ireland.
Dr. Naomi Rahman - Specialist Oral Surgeon
Naomi qualified from Trinity College Dublin in 2004 with an honours degree in Dentistry. She was awarded the entrance exhibitioner award in 1999 and a three year Scholarship Award in 2000. Naomi has worked as a House Officer in the Dublin Dental School & Hospital and also in general dental practice. She was awarded the Membership of the Faculty of Dentistry by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2006. The following year she undertook a three year Doctorate programme in Oral Surgery in the Dublin Dental School & Hospital. During this time she published numerous articles and has also been invited to speak at dental conferences on surgical related topics. In 2010 she was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland in Oral Surgery. She presently teaches part time in the Oral Surgery Department of the Dublin Dental School and Hospital. Treatments provided include simple and surgical extractions, removal of wisdom teeth, intra-oral hard and soft tissue surgery, bone grafting and implant placement. Surgery is carried out under local anaesthetic, with the option of intravenous conscious sedation or general anaesthesia. Dr. Rahman is a fully participating member with all major health insurers including VHI, Aviva, Quinn, St. Paul's Garda Medical Aid and the ESB Medical Fund.
Dr. Mohamed Alhag - Periodontist
Dr Mohamed Alhag is our resident Periodontist. He is a masters graduate from Dublin Dental School and has a broad range of clinical experience. In addition he holds a PhD in Periodontics from Dublin Dental School.
Dr. Mark Condon - Prosthodontist
Dr Condon has completed specialist training in prosthodontics at Trinity College Dublin for which he was awarded a distinction. He has other postgraduate qualifications from Scotland, England and Wales. Dr Condon has obtained a specialist fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in Prosthodontics and is a faculty member of the department of restorative dentistry at the Dublin Dental School and Hospital. Dr Condon has won a world award for his innovative use of dental ceramics.
Dr. Shaunine Gallagher-Paediatric Dentist
Shaunine is a Paediatric Dentist who works in practice limited to Paediatric Dentistry. Shaunine graduated from the Dental School at Trinity College Dublin in 2000. In 2003, she was awarded the Membership of the Faculty of Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Shaunine completed a three year full time doctorate degree in the area of Paediatric Dentistry in Trinity College Dublin, where she graduated with first class honours.
Shaunine has worked exclusively in the field of Paediatric Dentistry for over five years. This combined with her additional three years of unique specialist training makes her an expert at handling your child's dental experience.
Catherine Gannon - Hygienist
Catherine Graduated as a Dental Hygienist from Trinity College Dublin and has more than seven clinical years experience. As a former employee of the Dublin Dental School and Hospital she has worked with dentists from all specialist fields. Catherine has an in depth understanding of oral health and works with our specialists to ensure that all patients have excellent oral health.
