Invisalign®, Clearstep® and Simpli5®, use a series of clear aligners that are custom-moulded to fit your teeth. They are similar to very tight fitting, thin plastic gum shields and are virtually invisible to the naked eye. Over time these aligners gradually move your teeth into the correct position provided they are worn correctly for a minimum of 20 hours a day.
Aligners are removed for eating and drinking and changed ever two weeks or so, when you begin to feel that they are no long putting pressure on your teeth. Treatment is supervised by your orthodontist but there are no wire changes as there are with more traditional treatments.
